As a wife of a career military man and later a corporate executive, she had first hand knowledge of what it is like to move her family to a new area. She has experienced first hand the stress of moving teenagers and the difficult adjustments everyone must make when relocating. This experience has helped her to be sensitive to the needs of her relocating clients and why she does her best to minimize the turmoil involved with moving. Prior to entering real estate Judy was a trainer for a major company where she specialized in training their employees in customer service. Customer service has been the key to her sucess over the years and it is something that is still at the fore front of her business. She has attained every major professional designation available to Realtors and she is constantly improving her education by attending seminars and conventions. Her goal is to stay one step ahead of everyone else in her marketing techniques and her knowledge so that she may better serve her clients. Having helped over 1000 families move she has the experience that few other agents have. She has handled just about every situation that could occur during a real estate transaction and has become a knowledgable and savvy negotiator. Respected by her peers she is a leader in the real estate community and serves on the Board of Directors of the local Realtor association. Being born an "Army brat", she learned from a very early age that moving would be a way of life. Her family moved about every two years for the first years of her life. Then when she was 15, despite her vocal objections, her parents moved to Charlottesville where she attended Albemarle High School. Upon graduating in l989 Tara enrolled at George Mason University in Fairfax County. Tara received a Bachelor of Arts in English and returned to Charlottesville and used her degree while working at the Lexis Law Publishing Company in Charlottesville. The legal field beckoned and Tara became a court reporter and later office manager for Lane's Court Reporting. Her attention to detail was refined while working at both of these law related careers. In l996 her mother, an already sucessful Realtor, asked Tara to join her in the real estate business. Tara first became an assistant learning the business from the ground up. She was responsible for all of the important details in a real estate transaction that insures the transaction goes smoothly. Her previous legal background was a great asset when dealing with contracts and amendments. Shortly, Tara began working with buyers and soon learned that she too had inherited from her Mother a talent of dealing with people. Before long, Tara was setting records and establishing herself as a top producing agent on her own. After her first complete year in the business the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors named her Rookie of the Year, which is an award given to a new agent who has excelled in production, education requirements and has contributed to the Realtor association by volunteering their time and talent. Real Estate III also name Tara as their own Rookie of the Year. Tara continued to improve her knowledge and earned the Accredited Buyers Representative designation and has just obtained her GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute) designation. She continues to be one of the top producing Realtors in the Charlottesville area and earned the "Service Award" for 1999 by Real Estate III. In 2001 she left Real Estate III to join her mother as a partner in their new real estate company, REMAX Assured Properties. Together they attend real estate conventions and training sessions to constantly improve their knowledge and skills to move effectively serve their clients. Judy and Tara attended the Howard Brinton Star Power University for Team Training in Atlanta where they learned to refine their skils and form a team to conduct their real estate business. Personally, Tara has been married to her high school sweetheart, Scott, for 15 years and together they have a 4 year old daughter, Peyton Grace and a son, Grant Ellis, born February 2008. |

She was born in Newport News, Virginia while her Dad was on tour in Korea. At only four months old she moved to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Her family moved several more times before she started school and by the time high school beckoned she was living in Charlottesville and attended Albemarle High School where she graduated in l988. Heather's entire career has been based around customer service which is one reason she has been so sucessful so quickly. From her days working at Jefferson National Bank, were she worked in the student loan department, she moved on to the Student Loan Marketing Association in Herndon. There she moved up the corporate ladder to be the Manager of their national help desk. When a corporate restructuring was going to send her across country to live, she elected to move back to Charlottesville to join her Mom and sister as partners in their real estate business. Heather was a natural in real estate and proved herself a top producer as a Buyers Agent on the Savage Team during her first year. She immediately began taking classes and obtained several professional designations, served on several committees at her Realtor association. Every year since becoming a Realtor Heather has been a member of the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors Professional Honor Society. In her spare time you will find her singing around town any place there is Karaoke. She's won numerous contests for her singing ability. In 2005 Heather attended all the classes required to obtain her brokers license. She passed the state brokers exam in late 2005 and in early 2006 when we opened our East office Heather was named Managing Broker.  Meet Lucy Watkins- Mosley-Flint School of Real Estate, January 1989 - Joined RE/MAX Assured Properties in 2004 - 2006 RE/MAX 100% Club Lucy is a life-long resident of the Charlottesville area. She graduated from Fluvanna County High School in 1988. Her interest in real estate began at age 15 when she began working after school and during summer vacation at a local Realty office. Before graduation, Lucy was hired by State Farm Insurance to work in their Life Insurance Department. Lucy continued to work for State Farm until 2006. During this 17 year period, she devoted evenings and weekends to her buyers and sellers. Her former Broker once stated, “Lucy sold more property on a part-time basis than some of his full-time agents”. She referred to her schedule as second- shift, rather than part-time. When RE/MAX Assured Properties’ East Office location opened in Fluvanna in January, 2006, she accepted the opportunity to be an in-office Agent there.
